Welcome! We’re so glad you chose to stay at Peace of Grand.
This guide has everything you need to enjoy your time here — from Wi-Fi and house basics to dock access and local favorites.

Self check-in is easy with the smart lock. Your unique access code will be sent before arrival and activates at check-in time.

Internet service is high-speed fiber and works well throughout the house. Cell service can be limited depending on your carrier, so Wi-Fi calling is recommended.

Parking

  • Parking is available in the main driveway and carport, which can accommodate up to six vehicles

  • A gravel driveway on the opposite side of the house may be used if needed, though it is rarely necessary

  • Please do not park on the grass

This setup works well for vehicles towing boats.

House Expectations

We ask that guests treat our home with the same care they would their own.

  • This is a non-smoking home

  • No open flames or candles

  • No parties, events, or large gatherings

  • Only guests listed on the reservation may stay overnight

  • Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM

This is a quiet lake neighborhood, and we appreciate your help keeping it that way.

TVs & Electronics

All TVs are Roku Smart TVs and stream over Wi-Fi.

  • There is no cable

  • Guests log into their own streaming services

  • When prompted, enter your checkout date — Roku will automatically log you out at the end of your stay

Heating & Cooling (Nest Thermostat)

The Nest thermostat is located in the living room near the entry.

  • Comfort levels are set to keep the home efficient

  • Guests are welcome to adjust the temperature directly at the thermostat as needed

  • Please turn on the bathroom ventilation fan while showering

Outdoor & House Notes

  • Back patio string lights are controlled by a switch inside the door to the garage from the patio

  • Extra propane for the grill is stored in the shed

  • Grill tools are located above the washer and dryer in the garage

  • Remote controls for the patio TV and heaters are in the desk drawer

Dock & Lake Access

  • Private covered dock with cleats for boats

  • Two jet ski docks

  • Kayaks and paddleboards are available for guest use

  • Some life jackets are stored in the shed; guests are also welcome to bring their own

Dock depth averages approximately 4.5–5 feet and opens quickly into deeper water.
Please do not jump from the dock.

Getting to the Dock

  • Stairs lead from the back porch to the yard and dock

  • For easier access, guests may walk around the side of the house to avoid stairs

Pet Information

We love hosting dogs.

  • Up to three dogs, maximum 50 lbs each

  • Dogs must be house-trained

  • Dogs should be crated if left alone

  • Please keep pets off furniture unless covered

  • No cats or other animals

Please be respectful of neighbors and clean up after your pets.

Security & Safety

  • Exterior security cameras monitor the driveway and yard only

  • There are no cameras inside the home

  • Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed

  • A fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen

Check-Out (Keeping It Easy)

Before leaving, please:

  • Lock all doors and windows

No need to make beds or start laundry.
If you’d like to go the extra mile, tossing used towels into the washer is appreciated but not required.
